Family Constellations | Christos Archos

What is not resolved is repeated.

Family Constellations is a systemic therapeutic method developed by Bert Hellinger and now practiced internationally. It works from a simple observation: many of the difficulties we carry — patterns in relationships, blocks around success, recurring losses, unexplained loyalties — are not fully our own. They belong to the family system, and they continue moving through generations until someone looks at them directly. This session uses the constellation method to surface what is operating in the system and to find the movement that allows it to settle.

What’s Included in Your Session

  • Pre-session intake — you describe the theme or pattern you wish to work with, and the relevant family context
  • Genogram construction — we map the relevant generations together, identifying significant events, losses, exclusions, and patterns
  • Constellation work conducted in individual format using representatives, anchor points, or somatic-imaginal positioning, depending on what the work requires
  • Resolution movement — locating the orienting sentence, gesture, or acknowledgment that allows the system to shift
  • Integration guidance for the weeks following the session, including practices to support the shift

Why Choose This Session?

  • One of the most effective methods available for working with intergenerational patterns and family system dynamics
  • Conducted in the Hellinger systemic tradition, with refinements from family therapy and depth psychology
  • Useful for recurring relationship dynamics, blocks around success or money, unexplained loyalties, late mourning, adoption themes, or family secrets
  • Works at the systemic level rather than the individual — addressing what therapy alone often cannot reach
  • Single-session format, complete in itself, with clear post-session integration

The system remembers. The work is to let it move.
