23 August – 22 September · Element: Earth · Ruler: Mercury
You have been waiting for your own year, and it arrives on 26 July, when Jupiter enters your sign for twelve months: the year of Leo ends and the year of Virgo begins. Until then Jupiter in your solar twelfth house works behind the scenes and ties up loose ends. Uranus in your tenth house changes your work, and if you do not make the changes yourself, it makes them for you. Saturn and Neptune in your eighth house ask for order and clarity over shared money, inheritances and loans, Pluto with the North Node in your sixth house transforms your daily life and your health, and Chiron moves into your ninth house, the house of study and travel, on 14 April. Mars starts the year retrograde in your sign.
First decan (23 August – 1 September)
Love
The lunar eclipse of 21 February falls on your degrees, with the Sun opposite in your seventh house, and brings a relationship to a moment of truth, inside the difficult week of 17 to 23 February and with Mars retrograde on top of you. The luckiest stretch of your year runs from 26 July to 11 September, while Jupiter crosses your degrees: Wednesday 1 September, the day after the Virgo New Moon on Jupiter and your Sun, is the best day of your year, and a relationship that starts then has a future. Mars in your fifth house from 25 November to 8 December, with Venus meeting it on 25 November, brings love and joy at the end of the year, and the Capricorn New Moon on 27 December in the same house closes the year tenderly.
Money
January is the month for money matters, with Saturn quincunx you from the eighth house until 28 January: other people’s money, loans, debts that need settling. Friday 22 January, with the Leo Full Moon in your twelfth house, is the hardest day of your year. Neptune stays in your eighth house all year and blurs shared money. Avoid going to court over inheritances, because it will lead nowhere, and take care around 25 March and 28 September, when the Sun first conjoins Neptune and then opposes it. Mars in your second house from 15 July to 1 August, opposite Neptune on 26 July, is the period when you can lose money on a promise. The Jupiter–Chiron trine on 17 August brings income from study or from abroad.
Career
Uranus squares your Sun from the tenth house all year, and the message is clear: if you do not make changes in your work, you will face serious problems. The days to watch are 17 February and 29 May, when Mars on your Sun squares Uranus, and 10 September, when Jupiter on your degrees does the same: a change of direction in your career that is long overdue. Pluto in your sixth house transforms your daily work, and its conjunction with the North Node on 16 November brings a new post or a new field. From 14 April Chiron trine you from the ninth house supports study and goals, and the week of 20 to 26 April is one of your best. You come out of all this a winner, because Jupiter reaches you in the summer.
Wellbeing
Mars keeps circling through your decan from 1 January to 7 June: on your Sun until 2 January, again, retrograde, from 18 January to 21 February, and direct from 14 May to 7 June. This is energy that needs an outlet, otherwise it turns into irritability, inflammation and accidents. The weeks of 8 to 14 January and 25 to 31 May are the most tiring, and January is the most demanding month on your wave chart. The peak comes in August, with the week of 26 August to 1 September the best of your year. Tempers come back from 16 to 29 October, with Mars in your fourth house opposing Uranus on the 28th, so do not open a new front with your family on those days.
Second decan (2–12 September)
Love
The Pisces New Moon on 8 March falls opposite you, in your seventh house, and it is the hardest day of your year: a relationship asks to start over or to end, inside the week of 5 to 11 March. The big romantic period runs from 11 September to 30 October, while Jupiter crosses your Sun: luck, money and a new relationship, with Saturday 23 October the best day of your year. Mars in the fifth house from 9 to 21 December warms up love over the holidays, and the week of 10 to 16 July, with the Sun in your eleventh house, is good for meeting people through friends.
Money
From January to April Saturn crosses your degrees in quincunx from the eighth house, and money and inheritance matters need settling (an inheritance, a loan, a settlement), with the Aries New Moon on Saturn on 7 April the day of the decision. The Jupiter–Saturn trine on 3 April helps you close the matter on good terms. From 11 September to 30 October Jupiter on your Sun brings money, and the Mars–Jupiter sextile on 20 September is a good day for a purchase or a deal. Mars in your second house from 1 to 17 August, trine the North Node on 3 August, brings income from work.
Career
Professionally this is one of your quietest, least eventful years, and after the last few years that comes as a relief. The North Node crosses your degrees from the sixth house from 21 March to 30 September, and daily work, colleagues and routine need adjusting, with the Saturn–North Node sextile on 12 April bringing a good work arrangement. From May to August absolutely nothing important happens, and it is the best time to organise whatever you will need in the autumn. Career luck comes from 11 September to 30 October, with Jupiter on your Sun and the week of 18 to 24 October one of your best: an offer, a promotion, a new post.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in October, and the most demanding month is March. Mars turns retrograde on 10 January right on your degrees, crosses your Sun from 2 to 18 January, and through the whole first quarter your nerves need managing: keep moving, do not sit around all day. It returns, direct, to the same degrees from 7 to 27 June, with the week of 5 to 11 June one of the tiring ones of the year and the Gemini New Moon on 4 June square you from the tenth house. Mars in the fourth house from 30 October to 12 November brings tension at home, and Mars in the third house from 17 September to 1 October calls for care on the road.
Third decan (13–22 September)
Love
The lunar eclipse of 18 July, trine your Sun from the fifth house, supports your relationships, and Monday 19 July is the best day of your year, inside the good week of 17 to 23 July: love, children, creativity. The Pisces Full Moon on 16 September falls opposite you, with the Sun on your own Sun, and puts the relationship at the centre right in your birthday season. The end of the year is exciting. From 30 October Jupiter reaches your degrees, until 2028, and a new love is likely, with the week of 27 October to 2 November among your best and Mars in your fifth house from 21 December closing the year with passion, during the good days of 28 to 31 December.
Money
From late April money becomes serious business. Saturn reaches your degrees from the eighth house on 26 April, and until the end of the year it asks you not to work with other people’s money, not to take a loan you do not need, and to stay out of inheritance lawsuits, which drag on and cost you. The Mars–Saturn opposition on 29 August, with Mars in your second house, and the Sun–Saturn opposition on 18 October are the two days when a money problem shows its teeth. The Jupiter–Saturn trine on 12 July is the day for a long-term investment, and the Mars–Saturn trine on 15 November the day for a settlement. Chiron in your eighth house until 14 April heals an old financial wound, with the Jupiter–Chiron trine on 3 January.
Career
Professionally this is a neutral year, without big upheavals. The North Node in your sixth house until 21 March asks for order in your daily work, with the Sun meeting it on 9 February. Saturday 19 June, with the Sagittarius Full Moon square you from the fourth and tenth houses, is the hardest day of your year and sets home against career, inside June, the most demanding month on your wave chart. From 30 October Jupiter on your Sun opens your own professional year, which peaks during 2028, and December is the peak month of your wave chart.
Wellbeing
Mars on your Sun from 27 June to 15 July, quincunx Saturn on 10 July, asks you to watch out for inflammation, fever and overwork. Tempers need care from 12 to 25 November, with Mars in your fourth house square Jupiter on 16 November, so do not start family discussions that can wait. The eclipse of 17 August, quincunx you from the sixth house, asks for an adjustment to your routine or your diet. The days from 28 to 31 December, with Mars trine Jupiter on the 31st, are among your best.
