21 March – 20 April · Element: Fire · Ruler: Mars
Aries is one of the three signs that carry the weight of 2027. Saturn and Neptune move through your sign together, in your solar first house, and ask two opposite things of you at the same time: structure and dreams, discipline and trust. Uranus in your third house renews your communication and the way you organise your daily life, Pluto with the North Node in the eleventh house changes your circle and your networking, and Jupiter, in your fifth house until 26 July, brings love, creativity and children before it moves into your sixth house, the house of work and health. Mars, your ruler, starts the year retrograde in your sixth house, which means the first quarter calls for patience with work and with your body. The second decan has the hardest start and the best spring, and the third takes on the weight of Saturn from late April.
First decan (21–30 March)
Love
Jupiter in your fifth house keeps love alive for the first seven months, and the total eclipse of 2 August, trine your Sun from the fifth house, is the day of a fated relationship: something begins or takes a new form, and Monday 2 August is the best day of your year. From 30 September the North Node sextiles your Sun from the eleventh house and your social life opens up until the end of the year, with the Libra New Moon on 30 September, opposite you, putting the question of the relationship on the table. Be careful from 15 July to 1 August, when Mars is opposite you in the seventh house, and on 26 July it opposes Neptune: tension with your partner, and misunderstandings that are not worth the fight.
Money
In the first half of the year money occupies you more than work does. The Scorpio Full Moon on 21 April, in your eighth house, clears things up around shared money, loans or debts, and Mars in your eighth house from 2 to 17 September, square Pluto on 9 September, calls for care in dealings with banks and partners. Pluto in your eleventh house all year ties your money to the people you know: one source of income comes through networking. Expect financial surprises at the end of the year, with the Scorpio New Moon on 29 October in the eighth house and the Pluto–North Node conjunction on 16 November, which may change where your income comes from, for the better.
Career
January is a month of pressure, because Saturn sits exactly on your Sun until 28 January, and Friday 1 January is the hardest day of your year. Neptune stays in your first house all year and makes it hard to put things into practice and to stay in touch with reality: you will have to wrestle with your own illusions, especially around 25 March, when the Sun meets it. Uranus in your third house helps you organise your communication and your systems, and its sextile to Neptune on 15 January and 6 June brings success with contracts. From 26 July to 11 September Jupiter in the sixth house crosses your degrees and work asks for adjustments, with the Jupiter–Uranus square on 10 September changing something in your daily schedule.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in November, and the most demanding month is September, with the week of 31 August to 6 September the most tiring. Mars in your sixth house until 2 January, from 18 January to 21 February and again from 14 May to 7 June asks you not to push your body to its limits, especially on 17 February and 29 May, when it squares Uranus. Mercury retrograde in late June brings trouble at home, breakdowns and delays, and the period from 26 November to 8 December, with Mars in the tenth house square Neptune on 1 December, brings tension between home and work.
Second decan (31 March – 9 April)
Love
Jupiter in Leo crosses your degrees in trine from the fifth house from 27 February to 28 May, and these three months are the romantic season of your year: love, creativity, children, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 3 April giving staying power to whatever begins. The eclipse of 6 February, sextile you from the eleventh house, brings a busier social life and new friends, and from 21 March to 30 September the North Node crosses your degrees from the eleventh house: that is when the year’s contacts are made. Be careful from 1 to 17 August, when Mars is opposite you in the seventh house and brings clashes, and with Mercury retrograde in October, which reopens a conversation about the relationship from 16 to 28 October.
Money
The hardest stretch of your year runs from 29 January to 26 April, while Saturn crosses your degrees, and for your finances this means responsibilities, obligations that cannot be put off and expenses that have to be met. The Aries New Moon on 7 April, on Saturn and on your Sun, is the day of the big financial decision: pay, settle, sign, but on terms you can keep. From 17 September to 1 October Mars moves through your eighth house and on 18 September squares the North Node: do not lend and do not borrow in those two weeks. The Mars–Jupiter sextile on 20 September opens up a chance of income through work.
Career
Mars turns retrograde on 10 January in your sixth house, in your degrees, and January is the most demanding month on your wave chart, with Friday 8 January the hardest day of the year. Saturn on your Sun until 26 April asks you to take on the role that is yours, even if it weighs on you. The gift comes on 3 April, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine in your degrees, which means success, growth and progress for whatever you have worked on, and on 12 April, with the Saturn–North Node sextile, which brings the right person at the right moment. From 11 September to 30 October Jupiter in the sixth house crosses your degrees and the work piles up: pressure on the job, but also more work, which is a good problem to have.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in May, and Thursday 6 May, the day of the Taurus New Moon, is the best day of your year, inside the week of 1 to 7 May. Mars in the sixth house from 2 to 18 January, retrograde from the 10th, and again, now direct, from 7 to 27 June, asks for care at work and with your body: small accidents, cuts, a fever from exhaustion. August, with Mars opposite you, is the month of small accidents, so take care when driving and at the gym. The weeks of 12 to 18 February and 16 to 22 December, the second with Mars in your tenth house, are hard ones, and from 9 to 21 December keep calm in clashes with your superiors.
Third decan (10–20 April)
Love
Jupiter in the last degrees of Leo trines your Sun from the fifth house until 26 February and again from 28 May to 26 July: two windows for love, the second sealed by the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 12 July, which gives a relationship solid ground. February, though, brings social setbacks, with the Sun opposite Jupiter on the 11th and Jupiter opposite the North Node on the 22nd, and October puts your partner at the centre: the Aries Full Moon on 15 October on your Sun and the Sun–Saturn opposition on the 18th ask you to say what you want from the relationship.
Money
The lunar eclipse of 18 July, square your Sun from the tenth and fourth houses, is the hardest day of your year and sets your career against your home, along with the money that goes with each. From 26 April Saturn reaches your degrees, and from then on the load grows: obligations, responsibilities, payments that will not wait. Mars in your eighth house from 1 to 16 October, quincunx Saturn on 9 October, calls for order in shared money and debts, and the week of 13 to 19 October is one of the hard weeks of the year. The total eclipse of 2 August does not affect you seriously: it falls in your fifth house, far from your degrees. The Mars–Saturn trine on 15 November is the day for a financial decision that lasts.
Career
Chiron sits on your Sun until 14 April and raises existential questions about who you are and what your work is worth, with the Jupiter–Chiron trine on 3 January giving a first answer. The first four months are the easiest for your career, with the weeks of 26 January to 1 February and 17 to 23 March among the best of the year, and your wave chart peaking in February. From May onwards things get very hard, because Saturn reaches your degrees, turns retrograde on 9 August and presses on you, most of all from July to October. From 30 October Jupiter in the sixth house crosses your degrees and brings pressure at work until the end of the year, but also work that pays off. Saturn turns direct on 24 December.
Wellbeing
The most demanding month on your wave chart is October, and the hardest day of the year is Sunday 18 July, the day of the eclipse. Mars opposite you in the seventh house from 17 August to 2 September, opposing Saturn on 29 August, brings toxic situations and fatigue, and the week of 27 August to 2 September calls for rest. Avoid confrontations then. Tuesday 17 August, with the lunar eclipse sextile you from the eleventh house, is the best day of your year, inside the good week of 12 to 18 August. The Mars–Saturn square on 23 December, with a hard week from 23 to 29 December, closes the year with one last lesson in patience.
