Zodiac Signs August 2026: Two Eclipses and Major Surprises

August 2026 is not an ordinary summer month. It carries two eclipses, four sign changes and a Chiron that turns stationary retrograde within the first three days. When that much lands in thirty days, the scenery changes quickly and often without warning.

The good news is that the overall tone of the month stays positive. There are real opportunities, upsets that end well, and openings you have been waiting on for a long time. There is also one date I want to flag from the very start, because it deserves a place in your calendar before you commit to anything important: 28 August.

We will go through what the month brings, which dates are worth using, which ones are worth avoiding, and then what happens in each sign individually, pentad by pentad. The reason I work with five degree sections rather than blanket sign forecasts is simple. Within the same sign, two people born ten days apart live an entirely different month.

Zodiac signs August 2026: the month at a glance

There are five major moves inside the month. On 3 August Chiron turns stationary retrograde at 0 degrees and 52 minutes of Taurus. On 6 August Venus enters Libra. On 9 August Mercury moves into Leo. On 11 August Mars enters Cancer. And on 25 August Mercury reaches Virgo.

The two eclipses fall on top of that framework, on 12 and 28 August. The first one builds. The second one does the exact opposite. That contrast between the two is the most interesting feature of the whole month.

The two eclipses of August 2026

Solar eclipse in Leo, 12 August

The total solar eclipse of 12 August takes place at 20 degrees and 1 minute of Leo. It is a constructive eclipse, the kind that opens doors rather than closing them. I will analyse it separately because it has a great deal to say, but its core message is that it brings change through achievement rather than through loss.

It mainly affects Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio in the 5th pentad. Because it falls exactly on 20 degrees, however, it also reaches those born in the three days just before that point, so include the end of the second decan of those four signs. If you have planets or angles near 20 degrees of any Fixed sign, this August concerns you personally.

Lunar eclipse in Pisces, 28 August

Here the atmosphere changes completely. The lunar eclipse of 28 August falls at 4 degrees and 54 minutes of Pisces and it is the hardest moment of the entire month. It mainly affects the first pentad and secondarily the second pentad of the Mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

The problem is not the eclipse alone. It is that Mercury squares Uranus in the same window, and that combination sets fire to balances that looked stable. Sudden words, abrupt decisions, cancellations, friction with people you did not expect it from. The 27th, 28th and 29th of August genuinely need care.

I will say it plainly, because I say it every year and every year somebody does not listen. On 28 August, start nothing. No signature, no journey, no agreement, no conversation that can wait two days.

Sign changes and the stationary Chiron

3 August, Chiron stationary retrograde in Taurus. This opens a short period of reassessment for Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius in the early degrees. Matters you thought you had closed ask for a second look.

6 August, Venus in Libra. One of the loveliest placements for Venus. It brings relationships, romance, renewal, creativity, new contacts and collaborations. It is that summer breeze of revival that lets people enjoy themselves without trying.

9 August, Mercury in Leo. Not my favourite placement, to be honest about it. Mercury in Leo has an intensely self centred way of seeing things, so intense that it sometimes ignores everything else. On the other hand it gives us the nerve to ask for what we want and to work on our own convictions. Just watch the ego, yours and everyone else’s.

11 August, Mars in Cancer. Mars enters the sign of its fall, and that never goes unnoticed. It produces tension, pressure and conflict with a heavy emotional charge. It is not an easy placement and it mainly affects the Cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

25 August, Mercury in Virgo. Here we breathe out. Mercury is in both its rulership and its exaltation, one of the most helpful placements in the whole zodiac. It brings clear thinking, analysis and solutions to problems that have been bothering you for months.

The aspect calendar for August

10 August. Mercury squares Chiron and words that hurt may be spoken, especially for Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius in the early days. On the same day, though, Venus trines Pluto, one of the best aspects of the month. Money, new relationships and successes for Gemini, Libra, Aquarius and Leo in the first pentad.

11 August. Venus opposes Neptune and creates illusions and misjudgements in personal relationships. Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn in the first pentad take the strain. This is where lies and half truths surface. Just before leaving Gemini, Mars trines the North Node and helps the Air signs in the 6th pentad become far more decisive.

12 August. The busiest day of the month. Mercury opposite Pluto brings a deep shift in convictions but also heavy manipulation, with possible clashes for Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius. Then Mercury trines Neptune, favouring Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Libra and Aquarius in the first decan to create something new. Venus trine Uranus brings a sudden meeting or unexpected income. Mars sextile Chiron helps with wellbeing and exhaustion. And all of this sits underneath the solar eclipse.

15 August. Mercury conjunct Jupiter at 10 degrees and 9 minutes of Leo. The first genuinely good news of the month for the second decan, with emphasis on Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, Aries and Sagittarius.

17 August. Mars square Neptune brings disturbance and exhaustion for Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn in the first decan. On the same day, however, Mercury trine Saturn brings signatures, contracts and new work for the second decan, while Venus sextile Jupiter hands out smiles and interesting introductions.

21 August. Venus opposes Saturn. Disappointment and coldness in relationships, with emphasis on the Aries and Libra axis in the second decan. Strange, because the same decan was favoured only days earlier. That is how astrology works though, in waves.

25 August. Mercury opposite the North Node brings back conversations from the past for Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio. Mercury trine Chiron, on the other hand, helps Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn in the first decan to recover.

28 August. Lunar eclipse in Pisces together with Mercury square Uranus. The red letter date of the month.

Love. Best: 10, 12, 13 and 17 August. Hardest: 11, 21 and 28 August.

Money. Best: 10, 15 and 17 August. Hardest: 11, 12 and 21 August.

Career. Best: 15, 17 and 25 August. Hardest: 10, 12 and 28 August.

Wellbeing. Best: 12 August and the window from 15 to 17 August. Hardest: 3, 17 and 28 August.

Agreements and signatures. Best: 13, 15 and 17 August. Avoid: 12, 25 and 28 August.

Which pentad is affected the most

The busiest pentad of August is by far the first, meaning 0 to 4 degrees and 59 minutes of any sign. Falling on it are the stationary Chiron, Mercury square Chiron, Venus trine Pluto, Venus opposite Neptune, Mercury opposite Pluto, Mercury trine Neptune, Mars sextile Chiron, Mars square Neptune, Mercury trine Chiron and the lunar eclipse of the 28th. If you have several planets in that range, expect an eventful month.

The second pentad works mainly through Uranus and most of its aspects are positive. Only the 28th will trouble you. The third pentad has Jupiter and Saturn and can expect pleasant developments, with Venus opposite Saturn on 21 August as its single sour note. The fourth pentad stays almost dormant this month. The fifth has one event only, but it is the solar eclipse, so few changes yet substantial ones. And the sixth activates through the lunar Nodes, on 11 and on 25 August, with themes of groups and life direction.

How to read your forecast properly

Before you go to your sign, two things that make all the difference. First, the boundaries of the pentads: 1st from 0 to 4 degrees 59 minutes, 2nd from 5 to 9 degrees 59, 3rd from 10 to 14 degrees 59, 4th from 15 to 19 degrees 59, 5th from 20 to 24 degrees 59, and 6th from 25 to 29 degrees 59.

Second, the order of reading. Always look at your Ascendant first. It is the most important point of the chart and the first thing you should check. If you were born by day, from the minute of sunrise until one minute before sunset, look next at your Sun and then at your Moon. If you were born by night, from sunset until one minute before the following sunrise, look at your Moon first and then your Sun.

Pay attention as well to the Midheaven, the axis of your professional and social path, and to the Part of Fortune, which when activated touches the body and asks for rest. If you have a cluster of planets on one particular point, that point takes on an identity of its own and dominates the reading. Roughly speaking: Mercury covers communication, contacts and contracts, Venus covers love and money, Mars covers vitality and reaching goals, Jupiter covers expansion, Saturn covers limits.

Fortunately for you, Saturn is not bothering you this month. August moves around love and creativity rather than around trials.

1st pentad, 20 to 25 March. The start of the month may bring some financial delays. From 6 August, though, your love life becomes noticeably richer, with new introductions, contacts and passions that will shake you up. From 11 August watch out for conflict inside the home. Between 12 and 17 August, go ahead and close the financial agreements that are pending. Towards the end of the month be careful of people working against you behind your back, while at work you achieve what you had set your mind on.

2nd pentad, 25 to 30 March. A period of pleasant meetings and new contacts. On 12 and 13 August love can quite literally knock on your door, with sudden introductions and good news from relatives. The one caution is 28 August, where there may be a clash with a family member or a minor incident with the car.

3rd pentad, 30 March to 4 April. A very romantic and creative period, peaking between 15 and 21 August. The window from 14 to 19 August favours a new relationship, having a child, or a meeting that gives you a genuine summer romance. On 21 August the Venus opposition to Saturn asks for more care.

4th pentad, 4 to 9 April. No dramatic developments are expected. You do get joy and satisfaction with the people you love, plus small opportunities to flirt.

5th pentad, 9 to 14 April. One single event, but enough to lift you. The solar eclipse of 12 August brings new passions, introductions, relationships and romance. There is even the possibility of a child if you want one, and if you are already in a relationship you will renew it.

6th pentad, 14 to 20 April. A period of lovely meetings with friends. You will finally feel at the centre of a circle you have been waiting for, and you will get a real opportunity for an alliance that works in your favour.

♉ Taurus

Do not expect grand romance this August. The houses that light up are work, home and career, and that is where you will be moving.

1st pentad, 20 to 25 April. You begin with an inner process, an honest look at how you operate. On 6 August working conditions improve and a success you had been waiting for arrives. Around 10 and 11 August there are professional wins and possibly the chance of a move. Watch out for people undermining you, culminating on 28 August, where certain friends show their real face.

2nd pentad, 25 to 30 April. The stretch up to 25 August is excellent for your finances. You improve your work, raise your income, sell something you wanted to sell, or finally make use of a property. Around 27 August and to the end of the month, watch for sudden expenses connected with children.

3rd pentad, 30 April to 5 May. Pleasant gatherings at home, closeness with the family and the resolution of family secrets that had wounded you. At the same time you achieve something significant at work that you had been waiting on. On 21 August watch for exhaustion and a tendency towards minor infections.

4th pentad, 5 to 10 May. A quiet month. You relax with home and family, while working conditions improve a little in the second half.

5th pentad, 10 to 15 May. The solar eclipse favours you for a move or for sorting out what has gone wrong at work. You can push forward dynamically towards a new path and develop professionally in the way you have wanted for a long time.

6th pentad, 15 to 21 May. You make money through your professional work. Around 25 August, however, there may be upset and misunderstandings inside the family that will hurt.

♊ Gemini

1st pentad, 21 to 26 May. An intense inner process that asks to be resolved, alongside a very strong erotic charge and short trips that refresh you. On 10 August watch for misunderstandings and for people undermining you behind your back. Around 11 August a sudden romantic meeting may turn out to be far more complicated than it looks. From 11 August Mars in your second house brings expenses. From the 12th travel is favoured, and from 25 August pleasant financial prospects arrive and matters at home are resolved. On 28 August expect cancelled plans.

2nd pentad, 26 to 31 May. A wonderful period of creativity and professional success, with important agreements and enjoyable conversations with your partner and your children. August is a networking month for you. From 26 August onwards, though, do not launch anything professionally, because you will run into cancellations.

3rd pentad, 31 May to 5 June. A superb moment for travel, especially from 13 to 20 August. You enjoy time with your partner, close agreements, meet friends and allies. On 21 August the Venus opposition to Saturn may bring distance with your partner, so watch what you say.

4th pentad, 5 to 10 June. A restful month without major events. Nice contact with your partner, some flirting and a few pleasant trips.

5th pentad, 10 to 16 June. The solar eclipse of 12 August gives you the chance to get past professional obstacles, organise your plans better and succeed in matters of study, travel abroad and important agreements.

6th pentad, 16 to 21 June. A networking period. Around 11 August expect a significant trip abroad or a positive development connected with another country. On 25 August, preparation for something you had left unfinished finally pays off.

♋ Cancer

1st pentad, 21 to 26 June. A period of reassessing your friendships, while family takes on more weight and your finances begin to climb. On 10 August watch for financial losses through your social circle, and avoid signing anything work related until the 12th, because some people may mislead you. From 12 August opportunities for financial progress open up, though by working on your own. On 17 August the Mars square to Neptune brings underhanded power games. From 25 August things turn pleasant with contracts and signatures. At the end of the month avoid starting journeys, since you will meet obstacles at airports and in transit.

2nd pentad, 26 June to 1 July. The second ten days of August are excellent for you. You come close to the people you love, while money you have been waiting on finally arrives. Your family supports you financially, and on 12, 13 and 14 August everything is at its peak. Between 27 and 29 August watch for cancelled short trips and relatives who do not behave as you would expect.

3rd pentad, 1 to 7 July. A superb moment for money, and I really do want you to work your finances. Every date up to 19 August helps you improve your position or move ahead with a new professional plan with real success. Around 21 to 24 August, though, you will face attacks from competitors and a plan may be cancelled.

4th pentad, 7 to 12 July. No major events, but an excellent period for increasing your income. There may be some friction with a relative that dampens your mood.

5th pentad, 12 to 17 July. The solar eclipse of 12 August points to a significant financial improvement, but through a hard lesson about work and money. The improvement arrives suddenly and unexpectedly.

6th pentad, 17 to 22 July. Secrets you have been waiting on come to light. They will anger you to a degree, but in the end they will free you. Towards the end of the month money arrives from inheritance or from family, money that was promised and that you finally receive.

♌ Leo

1st pentad, 22 to 28 July. Chiron tells you it is time to reassess matters of career, while Venus in your third house helps with new friendships and with signing contracts you had been waiting for. On 10 August watch for clashes with authority figures, and on 11 and 12 for a travel delay. From 12 and 13 August lovely trips and delayed professional agreements open up. From 25 August Mercury in your second house noticeably improves your finances. On 28 August, however, the lunar eclipse hits your investments, so make your money through your own work rather than through investments or partnerships with third parties.

2nd pentad, 28 July to 2 August. A very broad social life. Signatures, contracts, travel, new introductions and people approaching you out of nowhere. You will feel popular and you will close interesting professional agreements. Towards the end of the month watch for unpleasant experiences with friends that carry a financial cost.

3rd pentad, 2 to 7 August. The pentad expecting the biggest new opening. Luck, professional recognition, romance, travel abroad, new experiences and conquests. Up to 19 August in particular it is an outstanding month. On 21 August there may be cancellations around travel that irritate you.

4th pentad, 7 to 12 August. No dramatic developments, though between 8 and 12 August, close to your birthday, you feel more refreshed. Small professional openings and a few trips give pleasant prospects.

5th pentad, 12 to 17 August. The eclipse happens practically on top of you. Expect a significant change in the way you move, with large prospects and successes in your personal life. You will feel a fated romance or a new relationship that unsettles you, and you will complete things you have been leaving open for a long time.

6th pentad, 17 to 23 August. A period of new bonds and relationships. Meeting someone who will care for you may shift your balance. The lunar Node axis begins to activate, which means a period of evolutionary events that will occupy you for the coming months.

♍ Virgo

1st pentad, 23 to 28 August. You resolve a great deal internally, set new goals and arrive at a new philosophy that frees you. Venus from 6 August favours you financially. On 10 to 12 August watch for delays around travel and money, plus sudden stress at work. From 11 August Mars in your eleventh house brings clashes with people who wear you down. From 13 August, though, your social life opens and money comes in, and from the 25th things get better still. The window from 27 August to 5 September needs serious care, because the lunar eclipse falls in your seventh house and brings separations, distance and difficulties in partnerships.

2nd pentad, 28 August to 2 September. A completely different picture. A wonderful period where your work pays off, you make money through your career, you deal with your hidden enemies and you receive money from a source you did not expect. On 28 August, however, come significant clashes at work and possible tension with a parent.

3rd pentad, 2 to 7 September. A period of balance and silence. Up to 17 August you rest, and on the 17th a sudden inflow of money arrives. On 21 August be careful, because what comes quickly can leave just as quickly. From 24 August your financial picture improves steadily. During the month you may also hear news from people who were hiding things from you, which will help you sort out who your real friends are.

4th pentad, 7 to 12 September. Nothing much is activated, and that is exactly why it is the right moment to rest. Move into silence, secure some mental calm, and that alone will make you smile.

5th pentad, 12 to 17 September. The solar eclipse uncovers things that were hidden. Significant revelations come out, but they come out in your favour. This is the moment when you close a few mouths.

6th pentad, 17 to 22 September. Finally a significant success at work. Those of you who are unemployed, send out applications during August, the yes is close. Around 25 August watch for burnout, because the demands on you grow and the end of the month gets harder.

♎ Libra

1st pentad, 23 to 28 September. You start with some delay in investment matters, but from 6 August Venus enters your sign and makes you romantically irresistible, while Mercury in your eleventh house makes you popular. On 10 August there may be clashes over money, and on the 11th a romantic meeting that looks more like a lie. From 11 August Mars in Cancer brings sharp conflict in professional matters. Between 12 and 14 August a sudden passionate meeting could change your life. On 17 August give your partner some affection because they are struggling. From 25 August watch for a war behind the scenes, while on 28 August exhaustion and wellbeing need attention.

2nd pentad, 28 September to 3 October. Significant prospects for travel and for the successes that come through it. New relationships, new desires, admiration from people you have only just met. A wonderful month, with good news around foreign matters and examinations too. The one caution is 28 August, where you may struggle with transit and airports.

3rd pentad, 3 to 8 October. A genuinely lucky stretch. Popularity, affection, attention from others, renewal at work, a new romance knocking at your door and lovely moments with groups and friends. On 21 August watch for serious difficulties in a partnership.

4th pentad, 8 to 13 October. No dramatic developments, but you find yourself at the centre of friendships and pleasant introductions. A small flirtation leaves a good taste in an otherwise quiet August.

5th pentad, 13 to 18 October. The solar eclipse falls in your eleventh house. You may make an important new friend or find yourself in a gathering that refreshes you. A secret admirer is not out of the question either.

6th pentad, 18 to 23 October. Few events, but on 11 August the Mars aspect to the North Node can bring a lucky romantic meeting. On 25 August your love life flares up again.

♏ Scorpio

1st pentad, 23 to 28 October. You are reassessing matters of relationship. Venus in your twelfth house may bring a secret admirer, while Mercury from 9 August in your tenth house guarantees professional moves with matching results. On 10 August take care with colleagues, on the 12th with family secrets. On 11 August there may be delays around travel. From 12 August your working life reignites and you enter a stretch of intense creativity. From 25 August new relationships and contacts arrive, while on 28 August the lunar eclipse may bring a meeting with a rather problematic partner. Which, knowing you, you may well enjoy.

2nd pentad, 28 October to 2 November. A period of psychological calm. You rest, you make money through others, you travel well. It feels like escaping both mental and physical fatigue. You achieve things around inheritance and career. The single sour note is 28 August, where some joint financial agreements may be cancelled.

3rd pentad, 2 to 7 November. Enormous momentum at work. You will tell me you want a holiday. Go, but take a phone with you, because from 10 to 20 August you have real professional openings. Your health and wellbeing improve noticeably. On 21 August they may pile more work on you and leave you tired.

4th pentad, 7 to 12 November. No major events, but it is worth working on your professional path because a success you have been waiting for is coming. Keep a closer eye on how you spend.

5th pentad, 12 to 17 November. The solar eclipse of 12 August marks an excellent period of professional success and recognition. You can change job, relocate, and change many of the things that have been wearing you down.

6th pentad, 17 to 22 November. You finally close an agreement over something inherited that you have been waiting on, while you grow much closer to your family. Towards the end of the month a pleasant professional development brings smiles.

♐ Sagittarius

1st pentad, 22 to 27 November. An opportunity to meet new people. Venus from 6 August favours new introductions and Mercury in Leo favours short trips. The catch is that you are very tired, and that tiredness may keep you exactly where you are. It is worth pushing through, because the period genuinely favours a new romance connected with travel or with somewhere abroad. Take care with expenses around children and with matters of inheritance, since some people may try to take advantage. On 28 August expect serious problems at home, a possible breakdown with sudden costs, or sharp conflict with relatives.

2nd pentad, 27 November to 2 December. A superb moment. Renewal of your existing relationship or, if you are single, a new introduction. Romance, passion, travel, wonderful contacts. It is also a period of recognition and visibility, with major successes both professionally and personally. On 28 August take care with conflict among your own people.

3rd pentad, 2 to 7 December. You are the sign of long journeys and this month you prove it. New prospects, introductions, romance, creativity and popularity. A month of enjoyment, with the chance to come closer to your children or to your partner after a falling out. The single sour note is 21 August, where you may clash with your partner.

4th pentad, 7 to 12 December. Nothing dramatic, though there is a light favour around romance and creativity, as well as around travel. You can enjoy yourself.

5th pentad, 12 to 16 December. The solar eclipse favours you in matters of study and examinations, and it also opens the possibility of a significant move or relocation. An excellent stretch for meeting new people and for agreements with other countries.

6th pentad, 16 to 21 December. Around 11 August you may close a professional agreement or come closer to your partner. On 25 August a very interesting trip enters your life and may captivate you.

♑ Capricorn

1st pentad, 21 to 26 December. A stretch with a tendency towards reconnections. Venus in your tenth house favours you professionally and Mercury in your eighth helps you make money through joint ventures. The month may also bring plenty of expenses because of children. Around 11 August watch for breakdowns at home or clashes with parents, while Mars in Cancer brings tension with your partner. Even so, your finances and career hold excellent prospects, with real success around inheritance and investments. From 25 August agreements abroad and travel are favoured. On 28 August take great care with transit and with conflict involving siblings and the wider family.

2nd pentad, 26 to 31 December. A month of serious work, professional success and organisation, with very positive financial developments. Investments, wins, large prospects. If you have no job and you look, you will find one. You are also favoured to build a much better daily routine.

3rd pentad, 31 December to 5 January. Strong prospects for resolving matters of inheritance, while your investments do excellently. Money arrives that will make you smile. More broadly, August is marked by professional advancement and by the chance to turn some of your plans into reality.

4th pentad, 5 to 10 January. A neutral period, neither very good nor bad. There are small financial favours that give you room to breathe, and if you are job hunting you may find something that lifts you.

5th pentad, 10 to 15 January. The solar eclipse in Leo brings success in investments and developments around inheritance. At the same time you achieve a radical transformation in your character and free yourself from fears and insecurities from the past.

6th pentad, 15 to 20 January. You noticeably improve your quality of life financially and your work becomes highly productive. Around 25 August significant sums arrive from family, or a financial issue that had been troubling them is finally settled.

♒ Aquarius

1st pentad, 20 to 24 January. You feel you need to resolve some family matters. Venus in your ninth house favours travel and Mercury in your seventh favours partnerships and also a relationship. On 10 August fine prospects open up, but between 10 and 13 August there may be crossed wires around a trip, so check flights and ports carefully. From 11 August Mars in your sixth house tires you mentally and physically. From 13 August you have significant developments in travel and your work becomes productive, with a harder moment on 17 August. From 25 August financial agreements are favoured. On 28 August, however, the eclipse hits your finances badly, so keep a reserve.

2nd pentad, 24 to 29 January. A tremendous period of love, affection, creativity and success. You fall in love, you travel, you collaborate, you succeed and you make money. 3rd pentad, 29 January to 3 February. The month speaks clearly of a new relationship or the renewal of an existing one, while professional partnerships make you smile. Lovely trips refresh you. On 21 August a journey may be delayed and irritate you, but otherwise things run well.

4th pentad, 3 to 8 February. A quiet, muted month. You manage to settle down, with a little flirting and some contacts that refresh your daily life.

5th pentad, 8 to 13 February. The solar eclipse happens directly opposite you, in Leo. A fated meeting, relationship or significant partnership. It also counts as a win against your competitors. Make use of this period, because this eclipse offers romance, success and a real opportunity for victory.

6th pentad, 13 to 18 February. You are clearly favoured for a romantic meeting with a significant effect on your social life, while partnerships that lead to professional success are also favoured. You are entering an activation of the evolutionary axis of the lunar Nodes, which means that from here on your encounters stop being accidental.

♓ Pisces

1st pentad, 18 to 23 February. Venus in your eighth house favours you in investments and Mercury in Leo in work agreements. It is a period of heavy movement, so watch for minor accidents. Nothing serious, but a traffic light, a door or a wing mirror may cost you. August generally has a tendency towards high expenses. From 11 August romance takes the lead, with new contacts that will refresh you. Towards the end of the month come expenses connected with children. On 28 August the lunar eclipse falls on you and brings abrupt conflict and tension with your wider circle. Diplomacy is required. A red letter date.

2nd pentad, 23 to 28 February. A completely different setting. You are favoured to make money, to be supported by your home and family, to complete a sale or purchase and to build a better daily routine. Towards the end of the month you may meet someone who turns out to be a little problematic. On 28 August take care in personal relationships and with conflict involving people you love.

3rd pentad, 28 February to 5 March. A significant positive change in work matters. You receive money you have been waiting on and you are vindicated for efforts nobody could see. Up to 19 August you combine rest with professional success. On 21 August be careful, because you may suddenly have to pay out somewhere. From 25 August things improve again.

4th pentad, 5 to 10 March. Stability and calm. The period favours settling into your routine, and if you are unemployed, finding work that helps you feel better.

5th pentad, 10 to 15 March. The solar eclipse of 12 August promises significant success and advancement at work. A fantastic moment to change job, to get the promotion you wanted or the raise you have been waiting for. In matters of wellbeing you will also feel revitalised.

6th pentad, 15 to 20 March. You come close to the people you love and share wonderful moments with your family. The whole of August speaks of rest, affection and protection. Things get harder from 24 to 30 August, where serious problems appear in your daily life and at work, with a risk of burnout.

What to take away from August 2026

Keep four dates. On 3 August Chiron turns stationary. From 6 to 11 August we have the run of planetary ingresses. On 12 August the solar eclipse takes place. And on 28 August the lunar one, together with Mercury square Uranus.

Overall this is a month with a positive tone. For certain pentads, though, things are clearly more demanding, and that is exactly where preparation matters. That is the real point of forecasting after all: not to be frightened, but to know what is happening and organise in time.
