22 November – 21 December · Element: Fire · Ruler: Jupiter
Study, travel, career, love, children, contracts: every Sagittarius theme opens up at once in 2027. Jupiter, your ruler, is in your solar ninth house until 26 July, in the fire sign that suits you, and brings travel, study and contacts abroad, before it moves into your tenth house, the house of career and recognition. Saturn and Neptune in your fifth house give depth to love, children and creative work: mature relationships that settle down, and little appetite for flirting. Uranus opposite you, in your seventh house, brings upheaval all year for married people, long-term relationships and partnerships, and Pluto with the North Node in your third house changes the way you speak, write and learn. Mars retrograde in your tenth house makes the first quarter difficult for the career and public image of the first decan. The second decan has the loveliest spring, and the third a lovely first quarter and a terrific autumn.
First decan (22 November – 1 December)
Love
January is a month of creativity and love, with Saturn trine you from the fifth house until 28 January and the Uranus–Neptune sextile on 15 January bringing sudden luck to a relationship. All year, though, Uranus opposite you in your seventh house brings upheaval for married people and long-term relationships: the Sun–Uranus conjunction on 27 May, inside the difficult week of 26 May to 1 June, and the Mars–Uranus opposition on 28 October, with Mars on your Sun, are the days when things get turned upside down. The Jupiter–Uranus square on 10 September changes your relationships and moves them towards the shape you really want.
Money
Your money comes through foreign connections and study. The total eclipse of 2 August, trine your Sun from the ninth house, is the best day of your year, inside the good week of 28 July to 3 August, and brings a trip, a scholarship or a deal with people far away. Pluto sextile you from the third house all year gives income from writing, teaching, trade and communication, with the Uranus–Pluto trine on 15 June the day of the offer. Mars on your Sun from 16 to 29 October, trine Neptune and sextile Pluto on 22 October, is the best time to press your claims and negotiate. Mars in the second house from 25 November to 8 December, square Neptune on 1 December, calls for care with spending that rests on promises.
Career
The first quarter is a problem for your career and your public image. Mars in Virgo squares your Sun from the tenth house on 1 and 2 January, again, now retrograde, from 18 January to 21 February, and once more, direct, from 14 May to 7 June, and the lunar eclipse of 21 February, square you from the tenth and fourth houses, shakes up your work and is the hardest day of your year, with February the most demanding month on your wave chart. Recognition comes from 26 July to 11 September, while Jupiter in Virgo crosses your degrees in your tenth house: a post, a title, a public success that you will have to earn with work. From 30 September the North Node sextile you from the third house favours writing, study and contracts to the end of the year.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in November, with the week of 2 to 8 November among your best, along with 20 to 26 December. Tempers need care in the periods when Mars squares your Sun from the tenth house (1 and 2 January, 18 January to 21 February and 14 May to 7 June) and from 16 to 29 October, when it crosses your Sun. Blood pressure and the hips are your sensitive points. From 14 April Chiron in your sixth house asks you to look after a chronic everyday problem, with the Sun–Chiron conjunction on 20 April. The week of 22 to 28 August, with Mars approaching Saturn, is one of the tiring ones of the year.
Second decan (2–11 December)
Love
From late January to late April a mature love settles in. Saturn crosses your degrees in trine from the fifth house from 28 January to 26 April, and Wednesday 7 April, with the Aries New Moon on Saturn, is the best day of your year, inside the week of 4 to 10 April: a commitment, a pregnancy or a creative start that lasts. The Gemini New Moon on 4 June falls opposite you, in your seventh house, and with Mercury turning retrograde on 10 June, the week of 6 to 12 June brings misunderstandings in the relationship, with Friday 11 June the hardest day of your year.
Money
Jupiter in Leo crosses your degrees in trine from the ninth house from 27 February to 28 May, and money comes from abroad, from study and from travel, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 3 April closing a deal that holds. The Jupiter–North Node opposition on 23 April asks you to choose between the distant plan and the one close to home. The eclipse of 6 February, sextile you from the third house, brings a good deal or a contract. From 11 September to 30 October Jupiter in Virgo squares your Sun from the tenth house, and your career costs you before it pays: put money into training, not into appearances.
Career
The North Node crosses your degrees in sextile from the third house from 21 March to 30 September, and reading, short trips, seminars and training are the road of the year, with the Saturn–North Node sextile on 12 April bringing the teacher or partner you need. From March to May travel abroad is favoured, with Jupiter direct in your ninth house from 13 April. Professional recognition comes from 11 September to 30 October, while Jupiter in Virgo crosses your degrees in your tenth house, but the week of 3 to 9 September, with Mars in your twelfth house, calls for discretion. Mars in the tenth house from 2 to 18 January, retrograde from the 10th, brings delays that are not worth your nerves.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in April, and the most demanding month is June. Tempers need care from 2 to 18 January and from 7 to 27 June, when Mars in your tenth house squares your Sun, and from 30 October to 12 November, when it crosses your Sun: exercise and sleep are the antidote. The week of 7 to 13 January is one of the tiring ones of the year, and the week of 22 to 28 February one of your best, with Jupiter reaching your degrees. The Mars–North Node trine on 3 August is a day to start something good for your body, in company.
Third decan (12–21 December)
Love
From late April your relationship becomes settled and mature. Saturn reaches your degrees in trine from the fifth house on 26 April, until 2028, and whatever starts or becomes official from then on has solid foundations, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 12 July the best day for a wedding, a child or a contract. Chiron in the same house until 14 April heals an old wound in love, with the Jupiter–Chiron trine on 3 January. June brings misunderstandings: the Sagittarius Full Moon on 19 June on your Sun, with the Sun opposite in the seventh house and Mercury retrograde, puts the relationship to the test, and the week of 27 June to 3 July that follows is one of the hard ones of the year.
Money
Jupiter in the last degrees of Leo trines your Sun from the ninth house until 26 February and again from 28 May to 26 July. Money comes from abroad, from study and from publishing, with the week of 26 January to 1 February one of your best and February the peak month of your wave chart. The eclipse of 18 July, quincunx you from the eighth house, asks for an adjustment over shared money, and the Taurus Full Moon on 14 November, quincunx you from the sixth house, an adjustment in work and health expenses. Mars in your second house from 21 December, square Saturn on the 23rd, calls for restraint with holiday spending, but its trine to Jupiter on 31 December closes the year with good financial news from work.
Career
The first quarter is good for your career, with the North Node sextile you from the third house until 21 March, the Sun–North Node conjunction on 9 February, and Mars, retrograde in Leo, trine you from the ninth house from 21 February to 14 May: travel, study, deals with people abroad. From 29 May to 26 July Jupiter returns to your degrees and work, travel and study open up again, and the eclipse of 17 August, with the Sun trine you from your ninth house, is the best day of your year, inside the week of 13 to 19 August. From 30 October Jupiter in Virgo reaches your degrees in your tenth house, until 2028, and your career becomes the central theme, with the Mars–Jupiter square on 16 November the day not to rush.
Wellbeing
Thursday 16 September, with the Pisces Full Moon square you from the fourth and tenth houses, is the hardest day of your year, inside the week of 11 to 17 September: tiredness from being pulled between home and work. The most demanding month on your wave chart is November, with Mars on your Sun from 12 to 25 November and the week of 11 to 17 November the heaviest, though the Mars–Saturn trine on 15 November gives staying power to whatever you start. Tempers need care from 27 June to 15 July, with Mars in your tenth house quincunx Saturn on 10 July.
