20 January – 18 February · Element: Air · Rulers: Saturn and Uranus
Aquarius is the third of the signs that carry the weight of 2027, because Pluto and the North Node are in your sign, in your solar first house, and they meet on 16 November: success and fame, but the game is rough and the power play is hard. It is a year of personal rebirth, with a change of identity and direction, and with very intense eroticism, because Uranus, your ruler, is in your fifth house and makes the best aspects of the year: the sextile to Neptune, which lets you fall in love and sign papers in the same week, and the trine to Pluto, which sits on you. Saturn and Neptune in the third house give depth to your words, your studies and your agreements, and Jupiter is opposite you in the seventh house until 26 July, with marriages, partnerships and people in power, before it moves into your eighth house, the house of shared money. On 14 April Chiron moves into your fourth house, the house of home. The two Aquarius eclipses, on 6 February and 17 August, fall in the second and third decans, and the total eclipse of 2 August happens opposite the first.
First decan (20–29 January)
Love
Eroticism runs very high all year, with Uranus trine your Sun from the fifth house: its sextiles to Neptune on 15 January and 6 June bring love and paperwork in the same week, and its trine to Pluto, which sits on you, on 15 June is the day of the big meeting. Monday 22 March, with the Libra Full Moon trine you from the ninth house, is the best day of your year, inside the week of 21 to 27 March, and March is the peak month of your wave chart. The total eclipse of 2 August falls exactly opposite you, in the seventh house, and is the hardest day of your year: trouble in relationships, a break-up, or a relationship that changes shape. From 30 September to 31 December the North Node on your Sun brings fated relationships, and its conjunction with Pluto on 16 November is the most important day of the year.
Money
January brings a clearing of the air with siblings and people close to you, with Saturn sextile you from the third house until 28 January, often over money or property that is shared. Money is the theme from 26 July to 11 September, when Jupiter in Virgo crosses your degrees in quincunx from the eighth house: shared money, loans, inheritances and taxes need adjusting, and the Sun–Pluto opposition on 29 July, with the Sun in your seventh house, opens the conversation about who pays for what in the relationship. The Mars–Pluto sextile on 22 October is a good day to negotiate.
Career
Pluto on your Sun all year, with the Sun–Pluto conjunction on 25 January in your birthday season, brings success and fame, but through rough play and hard power games: you rise, and some people do not forgive it. Neptune sextile you from the third house supports writing, presentations and agreements with vision, and Mars trine you from the ninth house from 15 July to 1 August favours travel and study. From 2 to 17 September Mars in your tenth house squares Pluto on 9 September, and nerves with superiors and colleagues reach their limit, inside the hard week of 9 to 15 September: do not pick that fight that week. The Pluto–North Node conjunction on 16 November, on you, seals a decision about your path that will carry weight for years.
Wellbeing
Overall this is a positive year, but it asks you to manage Pluto’s intensity: sleep, exercise, and less control over other people. The most demanding month on your wave chart is August, with the week of 31 July to 6 August, around the eclipse, the heaviest. From 14 April Chiron in your fourth house, square your Sun, opens up problems at home and with your family, with the Sun–Chiron conjunction on 20 April and the Scorpio Full Moon on 21 April in the same house, and the Mars–Chiron opposition on 8 September brings the matter back. Mars in the eleventh house from 16 to 29 October brings company and energy.
Second decan (30 January – 8 February)
Love
The year starts in harmony, and the eclipse of 6 February falls exactly on your Sun: Saturday 6 February is the best day of your year, inside your best week, 2 to 8 February, a new beginning in every sense of the word. Love is the theme until late May, with Jupiter in Leo exactly opposite you from 27 February to 28 May, and a fated love arrives by September at the latest, because the North Node crosses your Sun from 21 March to 30 September. The Jupiter–Saturn trine on 3 April gives a relationship staying power, and the Jupiter–North Node opposition on 23 April raises the question of how much you give the other person and how much you keep for yourself.
Money
Mars in your eighth house from 2 to 18 January, retrograde from the 10th, reopens a question of shared money, and the week of 7 to 13 January is one of the hard weeks of the year. From 11 September to 30 October Jupiter in Virgo crosses your degrees in quincunx from the eighth house and money dealings get difficult: loans, inheritances, taxes and shared money need settling, with the Mars–Jupiter sextile on 20 September the good day for an agreement and the week of 17 to 23 October, with Mercury retrograde, the hardest. The Sun–North Node opposition on 4 August sets your own money against your partner’s.
Career
This is a year of improvement. Saturn sextile you from the third house from 28 January to 26 April brings serious agreements, contracts and study that pays off, with the Saturn–North Node sextile on 12 April the day the right person appears. Jupiter opposite you until 28 May, direct from 13 April, brings partnerships with people in power (superiors, institutions, people who open doors), and whatever is agreed on 3 April, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine, holds. Watch your temper from 17 September to 1 October, when Mars in your tenth house squares the North Node on 18 September: clashes with superiors that are not worth it.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in February and the most demanding month is May, with the Taurus New Moon on 6 May square you from the fourth house and the week of 5 to 11 May the most tiring: tension at home, not enough sleep. Monday 9 August, when Saturn turns retrograde in your third house, is the hardest day of your year, with delays and misunderstandings that wear you out. Mars comes back, direct, to your eighth house from 7 to 27 June and asks you not to work on frayed nerves. The Cancer New Moon on 4 July, quincunx you from the sixth house, asks you to adjust your routine and your diet.
Third decan (9–18 February)
Love
Until July the year invites you to meet your match. Jupiter in the last degrees of Leo is exactly opposite you until 26 February and again from 28 May to 26 July, and the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 12 July is the day for a marriage, an agreement or a contract with solid foundations. The first quarter brings a reunion, with the Sun meeting the North Node on you on 9 February, but Mars, retrograde opposite you from 21 February to 14 May, also brings clashes with your partner, with the week of 29 March to 4 April the hardest. The eclipse of 17 August falls on your Sun, with the Sun opposite, and brings love and new people, or a relationship at a moment of truth. Monday 13 December, with the Gemini Full Moon trine you from the fifth house, is the best day of your year.
Money
From 30 October to the end of the year be careful with money and investments: Jupiter in Virgo reaches your degrees in quincunx from the eighth house, until 2028, and shared money, inheritances and loans need settling, with the Mars–Jupiter square on 16 November the day you do not put money into anything that promises a lot. Mars in your eighth house from 27 June to 15 July, quincunx Saturn on 10 July, calls for order in shared money, and the week of 14 to 20 July that follows is one of the hard weeks of the year. The Mars–Jupiter trine on 31 December closes the year with a financial gift, and 12 to 18 December is among your best stretches.
Career
From April education, study and travel are your road. Chiron sextile you from the third house until 14 April, and Saturn from the same house from 26 April, until 2028, give depth to whatever you learn and write, with the Mars–Saturn trine on 15 November, with Mars in your eleventh house, the day of an agreement that holds. This year’s partners come with Jupiter opposite you until 26 July, and the week of 15 to 21 June is among your best for agreements. Mars trine you from the ninth house from 17 August to 2 September favours travel and study, but its opposition to Saturn on 29 August brings a delay with paperwork. Watch your temper from 1 to 16 October, with Mars in your tenth house, and the week of 15 to 21 October that follows is among your best for contacts abroad.
Wellbeing
Your wave chart peaks in December and the most demanding month is May, with Mars still opposite you until 14 May and the week of 15 to 21 May, with the Scorpio Full Moon square you from the fourth and tenth houses, the most tiring. Sunday 14 November, with the Taurus Full Moon square you from the same houses, is the hardest day of your year: tiredness pulled between home and work. The Sagittarius Full Moon on 19 June, with the Sun trine you from the fifth house, is a happy day, and the Mars–Saturn square on 23 December, with Mars in your twelfth house, asks for quiet holidays.
