2027 yearly horoscope by decan for all 12 signs

2027 is not a year that slips by unnoticed. It brings a great many contrasts and a great many events: Mars retrograde from 10 January, five eclipses, a total solar eclipse at midday on 2 August, Chiron changing sign after eight years, Jupiter moving from Leo into Virgo and Pluto meeting the Moon’s Nodes in November. In this article you will find the 2027 yearly horoscope for the 12 signs, divided by decan, with four areas for each decan in the sign’s own article: love, money, career and wellbeing. Each decan also has its own wave chart, so you can see at a glance how your year rises and falls month by month. Choose your sign from the menu and go straight to your forecast, or read the general part first to understand what drives the year.

The picture of the year: what 2027 brings for the signs

If I had to describe 2027 in one phrase, I would say it is a year of big changes and reversals, as intense as 2026 but with more extreme moments. It is not a year that rolls along calmly and lets you make your plans in peace. It opens issues and asks for answers, and those who face them early will find themselves well ahead by the end of it.

Three signs carry the weight of 2027. Leo, because Jupiter stays in its sign until 26 July and because the total solar eclipse of 2 August falls on its tenth degree: this is the pull of the leader, the year Leos find themselves at the centre, with everything good and difficult that this means. Aries, because Saturn and Neptune travel through its sign together and hold the developments of the year: structure and dream, discipline and illusion, in the same place. And Aquarius, because Pluto and the North Node are in its sign and meet on 16 November, in the aspect that changes the history of humanity: power, technology, collective life. Right after them comes Gemini, with Uranus moving through its sign and making the most important aspects of the year, the sextile to Neptune and the trine to Pluto.

The second thing to know is that 2027 is not the same from start to finish. The first quarter carries the stamp of Mars retrograde in Virgo and Leo, which rarely works out constructively: delays, tension, old issues coming back. Spring is the most generous season of the year, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine on 3 April, Jupiter turning direct on 13 April, and May and June the best months of 2027. Summer is very hard: two eclipses within fifteen days, Neptune and Saturn retrograde, Mars opposite Neptune and Saturn, and Jupiter changing sign. Autumn opens with Jupiter square Uranus and closes with the calmest and most productive stretch of the second half, October and November. December, with Mars in Capricorn square Neptune and Saturn, asks for care again.

The third is that the luck of 2027 is not handed out for free. While Jupiter is in Leo, the year rewards those who put themselves out there, who step forward and take on the role. From 26 July, when the year of Leo ends and the year of Virgo begins, the rule changes. Jupiter in Virgo is stingy. Luck goes to those who work, who get organised, who pay attention to detail and to their health. Keep these two things in mind and you will read what follows for your own decan far more accurately.

The major aspects of 2027 and what they mean for the signs

The slow planets do not make many aspects in a year, but the ones they make last for months and mark whole generations. 2027 has six such aspects, some of them repeating on different dates, and alongside them two changes of sign that do not happen every day.

Uranus sextile Neptune: 15 January and 6 June

Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries meet in sextile twice, on 15 January and on 6 June, and the aspect stays active for almost the whole first half of the year. It is the gentlest of the year’s major aspects and the most beneficial: sudden luck and success for those with the Sun or the Ascendant in the first decan of Gemini, Aries, Leo and Aquarius, and to a lesser degree for the first decan of Sagittarius and Libra. On a world level, humanity is looking for a soul: technology meets spirituality, science meets imagination, and that meeting produces ideas that did not exist before. Aries sees success in contracts, Gemini in its social life, Leo in its goals, and Aquarius may fall in love and sign papers in the same week.

Jupiter trine Saturn: 3 April and 12 July

This is the most protective aspect of the year. Jupiter in Leo and Saturn in Aries form a fire trine on 3 April, at 18 degrees, and again on 12 July, at 28 degrees. The first contact favours the second decan of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, and to a lesser degree of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The second contact does the same for the third decan of the same signs. Success, growth and progress, but in Saturn’s way: whatever is built inside these windows lasts. These are the dates for signatures, for starting a business, for decisions you want to stand the test of time.

Chiron in Taurus: 14 April

On 14 April Chiron enters Taurus for good, for the first time since 1984, and it does not go back into Aries. A seven-year period of big upheavals begins in finances, in the value of things and in our relationship with security. In 2027 the wound opens in the first decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius. Chiron turns retrograde on 8 August at 5 degrees Taurus and stays retrograde until the end of the year, which means that whatever issues open in spring will be discussed again in autumn.

Uranus trine Pluto: 15 June

The fiery aspect of the year, even though it is an air trine. Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius form an exact trine on 15 June and power changes hands: in technology, in politics, in business. It favours the first decan of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, and secondarily of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. If you belong to these, June is the month to make the move you have been postponing, because the change will happen anyway and it is better if you are the one steering it.

Neptune sextile Pluto: 29 June and 16 October

The aspect of the centuries, as we call it, because it has been with us since the last century, carries on into this one and changes signs along with the two planets. In 2027 it becomes exact on 29 June, at 7 degrees Aries and Aquarius, and on 16 October, at 5 degrees of the same signs. It touches those with the Sun or the Ascendant at 4 to 7 degrees of Aries, Libra, Aquarius, Leo, Gemini and Sagittarius. It means a change of course that at first feels like losing control and in the end turns out well. It is the aspect of people who make the change they were afraid of and feel relief.

Jupiter in Virgo: 26 July

On 26 July Jupiter leaves Leo and enters Virgo for a whole year. It helps Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces to rebalance whatever was shaken in the first half of the year, and it favours Taurus and Capricorn, which receive it in trine. But do not expect the Jupiter of Leo, which gave with an open hand. The luck of Virgo goes to those who work, who put their papers in order and who look after their body.

Jupiter square Uranus: 10 September

On 10 September Jupiter in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini. This is the aspect of technological change and of a bubble bursting: whatever has swollen beyond its real value gets tested. For the signs: Gemini is freed from family burdens, Virgo changes direction in its career, Sagittarius changes its relationships and Pisces starts new partnerships. For everyone, September is not a month for borrowing or for buying on instalments.

Pluto conjunct the North Node: 16 November

The last big event of the year. Pluto meets the North Node at 5 degrees Aquarius on 16 November, with the South Node opposite in Leo. A fateful axis is activated: society changes, institutions creak, technology is applied faster than we can control it, and unemployment may rise sharply in sectors that thought they were safe. Once again it affects the first decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius, which are also the decans with the most intense year overall.

The five eclipses of 2027

Eclipses are the clocks of the year: they show when an issue has ripened and has to take shape. 2027 has five, two solar and three lunar. Two of them, 18 July and 2 August, are the most demanding of the year, while 6 February and 17 August are positive.

Solar eclipse, 6 February, 17°37′ Aquarius

An annular eclipse at 18 degrees Aquarius, at 15:59 UTC. On a world level it is an eclipse of violence, because Mars is retrograde and Uranus turns direct two days later. On a personal level, though, it brings social life, groups and new acquaintances for the second decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius. Mercury turns retrograde three days later, on 9 February, from Pisces, and this is the first of its three retrogrades from water signs: 2027 is a year of emotional reassessment.

Lunar eclipse, 21 February, 2°05′ Virgo

A penumbral lunar eclipse at 3 degrees Virgo, at 23:12 UTC on 20 February (already 21 February in most of Europe, Africa and Asia). It brings a lot of violence, because the Moon forms a T-square with retrograde Mars, which moves from Virgo back into Leo on the same day, and with Uranus. It troubles the first decan of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, but new things also begin: anyone who works with their hands, with their body, with detail, finds here the start of a new routine.

Lunar eclipse, 18 July, 25°48′ Capricorn

A penumbral lunar eclipse at 26 degrees Capricorn, at 16:03 UTC, in a T-square with Saturn. It is the eclipse of poverty, or rather of shortage: shortage of time, of money, of patience. Career against home, obligations against rest. It affects the third decan of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, from 22 to 28 degrees, and asks you to cut something in order to keep something else.

Total solar eclipse, 2 August, 9°55′ Leo

The eclipse of eclipses, one of the biggest of our lifetimes. A total solar eclipse at 10 degrees Leo, with totality lasting more than six minutes at its maximum, at 10:06 UTC. The shadow crosses the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, Egypt and Suez, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and disappears into the Indian Ocean; over a much wider area, including much of Europe, it is seen as partial. You can find the exact times and coverage for your city on the eclipse page at timeanddate.com. Astrologically, the Sun, the Moon and Venus are opposite Pluto: a fiery eclipse, with scandals, reversals and financial revelations on a world level, and with an effect that lasts about six months personally, until February 2028, and about three years for states and institutions. It troubles the first decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius.

Lunar eclipse, 17 August, 24°11′ Aquarius

A penumbral lunar eclipse at 25 degrees Aquarius, at 07:13 UTC. It is the romantic eclipse of the year, calm and positive: groups, social life, love affairs, creativity. Jupiter in Virgo trines Chiron on the same day, and those who had a hard time with the total eclipse can catch their breath here. It favours the third decan of Aquarius, Leo, Gemini and Libra.

2027 month by month

January 2027

The year opens with Jupiter trine Chiron on 3 January, a tender start, and with Chiron turning direct on the 6th. The Capricorn New Moon on 7 January is the first good date for plans. On 10 January Mars turns retrograde at 11 degrees Virgo, and from then on the month changes pace: anything to do with work, health and daily life needs a double check. On 15 January Uranus makes its first sextile to Neptune, the most beneficial event of the month. The Sun enters Aquarius on the 20th and meets Pluto on the 25th, a day of revelations. The Leo Full Moon on 22 January, in the sign that hosts Jupiter, is generous for the fire signs. Saturn leaves the first ten degrees of Aries on 28 January, and the first decan of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn can breathe again.

February 2027

The busiest month of the first half. The solar eclipse in Aquarius on 6 February opens the month, Uranus turns direct on the 8th and Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th, in Pisces, until 3 March. On 17 February retrograde Mars squares Uranus, the most explosive day of the month, and on the 19th the Sun is opposite Mars. The lunar eclipse in Virgo on 21 February, with Mars moving retrograde into Leo on the same day, is the peak of the tension. On the 22nd Jupiter is opposite the North Node, a day of changes in leadership. Do not sign and do not start anything new after 9 February if you can wait. March is much better.

March 2027

Mercury turns direct on 3 March, and the Pisces New Moon on 8 March is the first clean start of the year, with no Mercury retrograde. Venus in Aquarius meets Pluto on 6 March, an intense day for love, and the North Node on the 18th, a day of fateful meetings. The Sun enters Aries on 20 March at 20:24 UTC, and the Libra Full Moon on the 22nd lights up relationships. On 25 March the Sun meets Neptune at 7 degrees Aries, a foggy day, good for art and faith and bad for agreements. Mars is still retrograde in Leo but heading towards its station, and whatever got stuck in February starts to come unstuck.

April 2027

The best month of the first half, together with May. Mars turns direct on 1 April at 21 degrees Leo, Jupiter makes its first trine to Saturn on 3 April, and the Aries New Moon on 7 April falls on Saturn, at 17 degrees: a start with weight and staying power. On the 12th Saturn sextiles the North Node, on the 13th Jupiter turns direct at 17 degrees Leo and on 14 April Chiron enters Taurus. The Sun enters Taurus on 20 April, the Scorpio Full Moon on 21 April brings financial revelations, and on the 23rd Jupiter is opposite the North Node for the second time. Saturn moves into the third decan of Aries on 26 April, and from then on the third decan of the cardinal signs carries the weight of the year.

May 2027

The month with the best sky of the year for new beginnings. The Taurus New Moon on 6 May, with Venus meeting Saturn on the 7th, favours long-term commitments. Pluto turns retrograde on 8 May at 8 degrees Aquarius, and Mars re-enters Virgo on 14 May, direct this time, to finish what it left half done in January. The Scorpio Full Moon on 20 May, in the last degree of the sign, is the most intense of the month. The Sun enters Gemini on 21 May and meets Uranus on the 27th, a day of surprises. On 29 May Mars squares Uranus for the second time, the only hard day of a good month.

June 2027

The Gemini New Moon on 4 June opens the month, and on 6 June Uranus makes its second sextile to Neptune. Mars leaves its retrograde shadow on 8 June, and whatever started in January reaches its end. Mercury turns retrograde on 10 June at 7 degrees Cancer, until 4 July: questions of home, family and property open up again. On 15 June Uranus trines Pluto, the big aspect of the month. The Sagittarius Full Moon on 19 June lights up study and travel, the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st, and on 29 June Neptune makes its first sextile to Pluto. Together with May, this is the month for the most positive change of the year.

July 2027

The month the weather changes. The Cancer New Moon on 4 July, with Mercury turning direct on the same day, is its good start. Neptune turns retrograde on 10 July, and Jupiter makes its second trine to Saturn on the 12th, Jupiter’s last big gift from Leo. Mars enters Libra on 15 July, and the lunar eclipse in Capricorn on 18 July, in a T-square with Saturn, opens the hard summer. The Sun enters Leo on the 23rd, on 26 July Jupiter moves into Virgo, and on the same day Mars is opposite Neptune: a day not to believe everything you hear. On 29 July the Sun is opposite Pluto, a herald of the eclipse.

August 2027

The month of the great eclipse. On 2 August, at 10:06 UTC, the total solar eclipse at 10 degrees Leo, seen as partial from much of Europe, Africa and western Asia. Chiron turns retrograde on 8 August and Saturn on the 9th, at 28 degrees Aries: responsibilities and delays for the third decan of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The lunar eclipse in Aquarius on 17 August, with Jupiter trine Chiron, is the breathing space of the month. The Sun enters Virgo on 23 August, Venus meets Jupiter on the 26th, the most beautiful day of the summer, and on 29 August Mars in Libra is opposite Saturn: toxic situations, mainly for the third decan of Aries and Libra. The Virgo New Moon on 31 August, on Jupiter, closes the month with hope.

September 2027

A powder keg in the first ten days. Mars enters Scorpio on 2 September, opposes Chiron on the 8th and squares Pluto on the 9th, and on 10 September Jupiter squares Uranus. The first decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius lives the most intense days of the autumn. Uranus turns retrograde on 15 September, the Pisces Full Moon on the 16th brings emotional release and the Sun enters Libra on the 23rd. On 28 September the Sun is opposite Neptune, and the Libra New Moon on 30 September is the good start of a much better quarter.

October 2027

One of the best months of the second half, despite Mercury retrograde. On 1 October Uranus trines the North Node, a lucky day for the air signs. Mercury turns retrograde on 7 October from 5 degrees Scorpio and goes back into Libra until 28 October: relationships and partnerships are renegotiated. The Aries Full Moon on 15 October, close to Saturn, is heavy, but on 16 October Neptune makes its second sextile to Pluto and Mars enters Sagittarius. Pluto turns direct on the 18th, Mars trines Neptune and sextiles Pluto on 22 October, the best day of the month, and the Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd. On 28 October Mars is opposite Uranus, a day of the unexpected, and the Scorpio New Moon on the 29th closes the month.

November 2027

The second good month of the autumn, with one big event in the middle. The Taurus Full Moon on 14 November lights up money matters, on the 15th Mars trines Saturn, a day for lasting decisions, and on 16 November Pluto meets the North Node at 5 degrees Aquarius. The Sun enters Sagittarius on 22 November, and on 25 November Venus meets Mars in the last degree of Sagittarius, on the same day that both move into Capricorn: the most romantic day of the autumn. The Sagittarius New Moon on 28 November, with Neptune sextile the North Node on the same day, is a start with vision. On 30 November the Sun is opposite Uranus.

December 2027

Mars in Capricorn sets the last tests of the year: a square to Neptune on 1 December, for the first decan of the cardinal signs, and a square to Saturn on 23 December, for the third. The Gemini Full Moon on 13 December is full of news and travel, Neptune turns direct on 15 December and on the 18th the Sun squares Jupiter, a day of excess. The Sun enters Capricorn on 22 December, Saturn turns direct on 24 December at 21°01′ Aries, Venus meets Pluto on the same day, and the Capricorn New Moon on 27 December opens 2028. The year closes on 31 December with Mars trine Jupiter: a good last day.

Retrograde planets and hot degrees of 2027

Mars retrograde 2027: 10 January to 1 April

Mars retrograde is the event that puts its stamp on the first quarter. It begins on 10 January at 11 degrees Virgo, moves back into Leo on 21 February and ends on 1 April at 21 degrees Leo. Its shadow lasts until 8 June, when Mars passes the point where the retrograde began, and personally I think its effect reaches into June. Mars retrograde rarely works out constructively, and woe betide us if we ignore it: whatever starts with a rush in these months comes back for corrections. It mainly affects the first decan of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces, which receive Mars from Virgo, and the third decan of Leo and Aquarius, which receive it from Leo. For first-decan Gemini it lights a fire under your feet over matters of the home, for Sagittarius it is a problem of career and public image, for Virgo a matter of work and health, for Pisces a matter of relationship. Do not start surgery that can wait, do not buy machines or cars, and do not open a war you cannot finish by April.

Mercury retrograde 2027: three times from water signs

Mercury turns retrograde three times in 2027, and all three from a water sign: from 9 February to 3 March, from Pisces back into Aquarius; from 10 June to 4 July, from Cancer back into Gemini; and from 7 to 28 October, from Scorpio back into Libra. That is why I say 2027 is a year of emotional reassessment: each retrograde reopens an emotional issue, talks it through again and closes it differently. The classic rules apply, signatures and technology purchases outside the retrogrades, but Mercury retrograde in water signs is excellent for reunions, for conversations you have been putting off and for saying sorry.

Venus 2027: no retrograde

Venus does not turn retrograde in 2027, which makes the year clearer in love than 2026. Her important dates: conjunct Pluto on 6 March and 24 December, the North Node on 18 March and 22 December, Saturn on 7 May, Uranus on 14 June, Jupiter on 26 August, and the conjunction with Mars on 25 November, in the last degree of Sagittarius, the most romantic day of the year.

The hot degrees of 2027

If you know your chart, check whether you have planets or angles at the following degrees, in any sign: 5 to 7 degrees, which receive Neptune, Pluto, the North Node and their aspects; 10 degrees, which receives the total eclipse; 18 degrees, which receives the eclipse of 6 February and the Jupiter–Saturn trine of 3 April; 22 degrees, which receives Saturn at the end of the year; and 28 degrees, which receives Saturn retrograde, the Jupiter–Saturn trine of 12 July and the eclipse of 18 July. Those with personal planets there will live 2027 more intensely than the rest of their sign.

How to find your decan and how to read the forecasts

General forecasts by decan are made from the position of the Sun, but the Sun is not the only thing that counts. The most important thing to look at is your Ascendant. If you were born during the day, read your Ascendant, your Sun and your Moon, in that order. If you were born at night, read your Ascendant, then your Moon, then your Sun. The decan is set by the degree: from 0 to 9 degrees 59 minutes is the first decan, from 10 to 19 degrees 59 minutes the second, and from 20 to 29 degrees 59 minutes the third. If you do not know your degrees, you can see them for free in the free natal chart, and if you live in a different city from the one you were born in, the tools page also shows your relocated Ascendant, which often explains why your year looks like that of another decan. If you want to go deeper, look at the Midheaven and the Lot of Fortune in the same decan as well. And keep one thing in mind: general forecasts show the climate, not your fate. A personal forecast can only be made on your own chart, and if you would like us to do that together, you can book a personal consultation.

The wave chart you will see for each decan is a general picture of the year: it shows how the climate rises and falls fortnight by fortnight, in green for the stretches above the decan’s average and in red for those below it. The green dot is the peak month and the red dot the most demanding month. It is not a score and it does not replace the text, but it helps you plan your big moves for the rising stretches.

2027 by sign: the forecast by decan for each sign

Below, each sign has a short introduction with the planets that drive its year, and a link to its own article, where you will find the wave chart and four areas for each of the three decans: love, money, career and wellbeing. Dates are given as they fall in Europe, times in UTC (for the eclipses, the moment of greatest eclipse), and the houses mentioned are the solar houses of your sign.

♈ Aries 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

21 March – 20 April  ·  Element: Fire  ·  Ruler: Mars

Aries is one of the three signs that carry the weight of 2027. Saturn and Neptune move through your sign together, in your solar first house, and ask two opposite things of you at the same time: structure and dreams, discipline and trust. Uranus in your third house renews your communication and the way you organise your daily life, Pluto with the North Node in the eleventh house changes your circle and your networking, and Jupiter, in your fifth house until 26 July, brings love, creativity and children before it moves into your sixth house, the house of work and health. Mars, your ruler, starts the year retrograde in your sixth house, which means the first quarter calls for patience with work and with your body. The second decan has the hardest start and the best spring, and the third takes on the weight of Saturn from late April.

♉ Taurus 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

21 April – 21 May  ·  Element: Earth  ·  Ruler: Venus

Career and home are the themes of 2027 for Taurus. Pluto and the North Node are in your solar tenth house all year and change your professional standing, with successes that come through conflict and power games. Saturn and Neptune in the twelfth house close a cycle out of sight and ask for rest that you often do not take. Uranus in your second house changes your income, and Jupiter, in your fourth house until 26 July, enlarges your home and family before it moves into your fifth house, the house of love and creativity, for a whole year. The big event of your year is Chiron entering your sign on 14 April, for the first time since 1984: it starts seven years of change around security and the value of things, and it reaches the first decan first. The second and third decans have a much calmer year.

♊ Gemini 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

22 May – 21 June  ·  Element: Air  ·  Ruler: Mercury

Gemini comes right after the three signs that carry the weight of 2027, because Uranus is in your sign, in your solar first house, and makes the most important aspects of the year: the sextile to Neptune on 15 January and 6 June, and the trine to Pluto on 15 June. You are the innovators of the zodiac, close to technology, and this year asks you to change first. Saturn and Neptune in your eleventh house sort out your friends and your goals, Pluto with the North Node in the ninth house opens up study, travel and life abroad, and Jupiter, in your third house until 26 July, fills the year with conversations and short trips before it moves into your fourth house, the house of home and family. The first decan lives the most intense 2027, with Mars retrograde in the fourth house during the first quarter. The second decan has an incredibly creative year, and the third sees excellent prospects in study and abroad.

♋ Cancer 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

22 June – 22 July  ·  Element: Water  ·  Ruler: Moon

Career and public image are the big theme of 2027 for Cancer. Saturn and Neptune spend the whole year in your solar tenth house: the first asks for responsibility and patience, the second blurs the road and makes you trust without seeing. Pluto with the North Node in the eighth house changes shared money, investments and inheritances, Uranus in the twelfth house wakes up whatever you keep hidden, and Jupiter, in your second house until 26 July, increases your income before it moves into your third house, the house of communication, contracts and short trips. Chiron leaves your tenth house on 14 April and moves into the eleventh, the house of friends. The first decan carries Neptune all year, the second has a fairly gentle year, and the third takes on Saturn from late April and the eclipse of 18 July on its Sun.

♌ Leo 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

23 July – 22 August  ·  Element: Fire  ·  Ruler: Sun

2027 is the year of Leo, in every sense of the phrase. Jupiter is in your sign until 26 July, and the total solar eclipse of 2 August falls in the tenth degree of Leo: it has the pull of a leader, a year when you are at the centre, with all the good and all the demands that come with that. Pluto and the North Node are opposite you, in your solar seventh house, and change your relationships from the foundations up: they destroy whatever has no future and create something new. Saturn and Neptune in the ninth house give depth to study, travel and faith, Uranus in the eleventh house renews your friends and your goals, and from 14 April Chiron in the tenth house raises the question of your career choices. From 26 July Jupiter moves into your second house, the house of money.

♍ Virgo 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

23 August – 22 September  ·  Element: Earth  ·  Ruler: Mercury

You have been waiting for your own year, and it arrives on 26 July, when Jupiter enters your sign for twelve months: the year of Leo ends and the year of Virgo begins. Until then Jupiter in your solar twelfth house works behind the scenes and ties up loose ends. Uranus in your tenth house changes your work, and if you do not make the changes yourself, it makes them for you. Saturn and Neptune in your eighth house ask for order and clarity over shared money, inheritances and loans, Pluto with the North Node in your sixth house transforms your daily life and your health, and Chiron moves into your ninth house, the house of study and travel, on 14 April. Mars starts the year retrograde in your sign.

♎ Libra 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

23 September – 22 October  ·  Element: Air  ·  Ruler: Venus

Relationships are the theme of the year for Libra, as always, but in 2027 they carry more weight. Saturn and Neptune are opposite you, in your solar seventh house: the first tests your relationships and partnerships for staying power, the second blurs who is who, and from Neptune come the misunderstandings and the stabs in the back of this year. On the other hand, Pluto and the North Node in your fifth house make 2027 one of your most romantic years, with love affairs that change lives, and with children. Uranus in your ninth house opens up travel, study and career goals far from the familiar, Jupiter, in your eleventh house until 26 July, fills the year with friends and groups before it moves into your twelfth house, and Chiron leaves your seventh house on 14 April for the eighth.

♏ Scorpio 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

23 October – 21 November  ·  Element: Water  ·  Rulers: Pluto and Mars

Your career rises in 2027, Scorpio, and your home changes. Jupiter is in your solar tenth house until 26 July, and you can make a name for yourself, win a position or get recognition that was slow in coming, before it moves into your eleventh house, the house of friends and social life. Pluto, your ruler, and the North Node in your fourth house transform your family, your home and your roots, and their conjunction on 16 November seals a decision about where and with whom you live. Saturn and Neptune in your sixth house ask for order in your work and your health, Uranus in your eighth house changes shared money, and Chiron moves opposite you on 14 April, into your seventh house, for seven years: relationships open up their wounds, starting with the first decan. Mars, your traditional ruler, crosses your sign from 2 September to 16 October.

♐ Sagittarius 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

22 November – 21 December  ·  Element: Fire  ·  Ruler: Jupiter

Study, travel, career, love, children, contracts: every Sagittarius theme opens up at once in 2027. Jupiter, your ruler, is in your solar ninth house until 26 July, in the fire sign that suits you, and brings travel, study and contacts abroad, before it moves into your tenth house, the house of career and recognition. Saturn and Neptune in your fifth house give depth to love, children and creative work: mature relationships that settle down, and little appetite for flirting. Uranus opposite you, in your seventh house, brings upheaval all year for married people, long-term relationships and partnerships, and Pluto with the North Node in your third house changes the way you speak, write and learn. Mars retrograde in your tenth house makes the first quarter difficult for the career and public image of the first decan. The second decan has the loveliest spring, and the third a lovely first quarter and a terrific autumn.

♑ Capricorn 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

22 December – 19 January  ·  Element: Earth  ·  Ruler: Saturn

Home, family and money are Capricorn’s themes for 2027. Saturn, your ruler, and Neptune spend the whole year in your solar fourth house: the first asks for order in your housing, your parents and your roots, and the second makes the home a source of misunderstandings, difficulties and delays, with breakdowns and unclear situations that do not get fixed at the first attempt. Pluto and the North Node in the second house transform your income and the value you place on yourself, Uranus in the sixth house changes the way you work, with unexpected difficulties on the job, and Jupiter, in your eighth house until 26 July, increases shared money, loans and inheritances before it moves into your ninth house, the house of travel and study, which is where the year lets you breathe. On 14 April Chiron moves into your fifth house, the house of love and children.

♒ Aquarius 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

20 January – 18 February  ·  Element: Air  ·  Rulers: Saturn and Uranus

Aquarius is the third of the signs that carry the weight of 2027, because Pluto and the North Node are in your sign, in your solar first house, and they meet on 16 November: success and fame, but the game is rough and the power play is hard. It is a year of personal rebirth, with a change of identity and direction, and with very intense eroticism, because Uranus, your ruler, is in your fifth house and makes the best aspects of the year: the sextile to Neptune, which lets you fall in love and sign papers in the same week, and the trine to Pluto, which sits on you. Saturn and Neptune in the third house give depth to your words, your studies and your agreements, and Jupiter is opposite you in the seventh house until 26 July, with marriages, partnerships and people in power, before it moves into your eighth house, the house of shared money. On 14 April Chiron moves into your fourth house, the house of home. The two Aquarius eclipses, on 6 February and 17 August, fall in the second and third decans, and the total eclipse of 2 August happens opposite the first.

♓ Pisces 2027: yearly horoscope by decan

19 February – 20 March  ·  Element: Water  ·  Rulers: Jupiter and Neptune

2027 is a highly romantic year for Pisces, with plenty of tangles in the first quarter. Jupiter, your traditional ruler, is in your solar sixth house until 26 July, where it brings work, helpers and care for the body, and then it moves opposite you, into the seventh house, for a whole year: marriages, partnerships, people who help you grow, and for the third decan a relationship that will turn your life upside down. Saturn and Neptune, your modern ruler, move through the second house and ask for order in your money, the difficult chapter of the year. Uranus in the fourth house brings upheaval at home and in the family, Pluto with the North Node in the twelfth closes cycles that nobody sees, and on 14 April Chiron moves into your third house, the house of agreements and short trips. Mars starts the year retrograde, opposite you.

After 26 July Jupiter in Virgo favours Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn, starting with their first decans. Sagittarius and Aries receive Jupiter in trine during the first seven months, and the first decan of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius has the most beneficial aspects of Uranus and Pluto.

Which signs have the hardest year in 2027?

The first decan of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius receives the total eclipse of 2 August, Chiron in Taurus and the Pluto–North Node conjunction, and these are the decans with the most intense year. The third decan of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn carries Saturn from 26 April and the eclipse of 18 July. The first decan of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces is troubled by Mars retrograde in the first quarter. An intense year is not a bad year: it is a year you remember.

Which signs have the calmest year in 2027?

Virgo and Pisces are the signs that sleep through 2027, and their second decan has the quietest year: few major aspects, no eclipse on its degrees, and Jupiter visiting for only seven weeks in the autumn. The second decan of Taurus and Cancer also has a calm year after April.

When is Mars retrograde in 2027?

From 10 January 2027, at 11 degrees Virgo, to 1 April 2027, at 21 degrees Leo. It moves back into Leo on 21 February and leaves its retrograde shadow on 8 June 2027. It is the only Mars retrograde of 2027.

When is Mercury retrograde in 2027?

Three times: from 9 February to 3 March 2027 (from Pisces back into Aquarius), from 10 June to 4 July 2027 (from Cancer back into Gemini) and from 7 to 28 October 2027 (from Scorpio back into Libra). Venus does not turn retrograde in 2027.

What are the eclipses of 2027?

Five: a solar eclipse on 6 February at 18 degrees Aquarius (annular), a lunar eclipse on 21 February at 3 degrees Virgo, a lunar eclipse on 18 July at 26 degrees Capricorn, a total solar eclipse on 2 August at 10 degrees Leo, and a lunar eclipse on 17 August at 25 degrees Aquarius.

Where is the total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027 visible?

Totality is visible from southern Spain, North Africa, Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula, and at its maximum it lasts more than six minutes. You always need proper eclipse glasses.

When does Jupiter enter Virgo and what does it mean?

On 26 July 2027, at 04:49 UTC, and it stays there until the summer of 2028. It most favours Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn, and it helps Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces put in order whatever was stirred up in the first half of the year. Jupiter in Virgo rewards work, organisation and looking after your health, not risk.

When does Chiron enter Taurus?

On 14 April 2027, for good, for the first time since 1984. It does not return to Aries. It stays in Taurus for about seven years and brings seven years of change in finances, in the value of things and in our relationship with security.

What are the best months of 2027?

May and June, with the Jupiter–Saturn trine, the Uranus–Neptune sextile and the Uranus–Pluto trine, and then October and November, with Pluto direct and the Neptune–Pluto sextile. The summer, from 18 July to 10 September, is the most demanding period of the year.

How do I find which decan I belong to?

From the degree of your Sun: 0 to 9°59′ is the first decan, 10° to 19°59′ the second and 20° to 29°59′ the third. Roughly, the first ten days of each sign are the first decan, the next ten the second and the rest the third, but near the borders you need the exact chart. Read the decan of your Ascendant first, then those of your Sun and your Moon.

Which part of the year needs the most care?

The first quarter, while Mars is retrograde, for new starts and purchases, and from 18 July to 10 September, with the two eclipses, Saturn retrograde and Mars opposing Neptune and Saturn. December needs care at the start and around the 23rd, with the squares of Mars.
